The way the white-dominated media handles situations like the high-school pregnancy pact by some female students in Massachusetts is always very instructive and eye-opening, especially when it involves some particularly anti-social behavior normally ascribed to people of color.  The white supremacist worldview maintains that the “teen mom” phenomenon is something confined to Black and Brown communities, that this and other social problems are not problems at all within white communities. 

When the illusion of white innocence is disturbed by cases such as the high-school pregnancy pact, white American quickly seeks out psychologists and other professionals to explain it, with the assumption being that this type of behavior is not normal for whites (yet normal for people of color).

The most obvious target of parental blame has fallen on the media, especially movies that seem to add glamour to teen pregnancy.  While this may have an impact on impressionable youth, the media ignores such influences when it comes to dealing with anti-social behavior on the part of youth of color.  Rarely is the psychology behind non-white anti-social behavior discussed when the situation arises, and this tendency to explain away white pathology while allowing non-white pathology to go unexamined has always had a tremendously negative on the psyches of people of color and their self-images.

Those in the media would probably be befuddled as to why the way they fashion their questions and pursue answers to them could be blatantly white supremacist, but such is the nature of racial thinking in the world and the persistence of deep-seated racial biases against people of color that have existed since before the US was founded.

Here is a biting perfomance by Immortal Technique concerning the truth of what really happened on 9/11.  It doesn’t get any plainer than this, my friends.

After clearly suggesting that part of her motivation for staying in the already-decided race for the Democratic nomination is that Barack Obama could be assassinated, Hillary Clinton has revealed even more of her callous, cold nature by not even acknowledging she’d made the suggestion.  Instead of apologizing to Obama like any decent person would if they’d made a mistake, HRC decided to apologize to the Kennedy family and blame Obama’s campaign for making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Perhaps characterizing Clinton’s statement as a “mistake” is itself a mistake.  From her non-apology and calculating demeanor, it is clear that she is counting on some form of calamity to catapult her into the nomination.  After thoroughly ripping asunder the nostalgic Clinton mystique from the minds of Black Americans, she rubs salt into the wounds by invoking political assassination (something Black people are all-too familiar with).  Any person of substance would feel ashamed of themselves for wishing harm upon someone in this fashion, but again, this speaks volumes about the Clinton machine and the lengths they’d go to in order to attain victory.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright has been on a publicity tour recently, using his air time to elaborate on the prophetic traditions of the Black church in America and to see if it is possible to calm the jitters of many white Americans.  On Monday, he gave a speech to the National Press Club, a speech which should be required viewing for all pundits in the traditional media.  Wright was eloquent and informative, but he has been pilloried again because he didn’t offer jittery white Americans what it seems they’d been hoping for:  repentance and submission.

The soundbites of Wright’s  “inflammatory” speeches were sliced and diced in order to achieve the effect amongst many white Americans that they have achieved (fear).  Like many white politicians in past elections who’ve faced a Black opponent, Hillary Clinton and John McCain both knew that they could appeal to white fear of Black anger to score points and convince whites to abandon the thought of casting a vote for a person of color.  Even though Wright’s words are not the words or thoughts of Obama, for many white Americans, mere association with Wright is enough to throw Obama under the proverbial bus.

Instead of dropping to his knees and begging the forgiveness of offended white Americans, Wright showed that he is not cowed in the least by all of the hypocritical denunciations of political media pundits who profit from the ratings.  Do his comments hurt Obama’s presidential campaign?  Certainly for white Americans who have been indoctrinated into believing their country is saintly and has done no wrong.  Certainly for white Americans who want to believe that their numerous misdeeds to people of color have gone unnoticed and unfelt. 

John McCain’s courting Christian Zionist and fundamentalist preacher John Hagee is blown off as not newsworthy because the traditional media reflects the perspective of white Americans who seem comfortable with McCain’s association with people who are outright white supremacists.  White supremacists and right-wing religious fanatics aren’t deemed threatening to whites, so McCain’s flirtation with them will never be made the political liability it should be.

Instead of renouncing his “uppitiness” and shutting his mouth, Wright let white America know that he is the real deal, unrepentant and unbowed.  Being true to oneself is the most valuable lessen any human being can learn, even if it threatens to damage political success.

Former Democratic congresswoman from Georgia, Cynthia McKinney, is on the threshold of becoming the Green Party presidential nominee in 2008.  I’ve previously endorsed her candidacy after Dennis Kucinich dropped out, and for those of you who are looking for a real alternative to the Obama/Clinton mess, McKinney should fit the bill nicely.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are finding themselves in a political position that they have not encountered before:  They are battling to win the hearts, minds, and votes of African Americans.  Before now, the Black vote was considered a given.  Because of the overwhelming support the Clinton’s have enjoyed amongst Black people in the past, it is understandable that Clinton campaign advisors and policy-makers have taken the Black vote for granted.  In 2008 though, Barack Obama’s candidacy is complicating the Clinton’s chances (and I use the plural when referring to Hillary since Bill has made himself very prominent on the campaign trail) of snatching a nice sized voting bloc without the expenditure of massive campaign resources.

The Clinton’s popularity amongst Black Americans stems not from his political policy (which in most part revealed a Democrat trying very hard to appeal to Republican voters, what are termed “NASCAR dads” and “soccer/security moms”, i.e., conservative whites), but because he has always seemed comfortable in the presence of Black company.  Writer Toni Morrison and even the CBC referred to him as the nation’s “first Black president” despite his abyssmal record on Black issues (let’s not forget that one of Clinton’s earliest political situations involved a decision to return Haitian asylum-seekers who had fled their country).  The Clinton’s are now, for the first time, faced with a tough adversary who may upset their firm hold on the hearts of African Americans, and the Clintons are not handling the prospect very well.

Both Clinton’s have already had slip-ups amongst the Black electorate in the ‘08 election cycle.  Bill’s “fairy tale” statement (which upon further inspection seems to have been erroneously taken to mean Obama’s candidacy itself is a “fairy tale”) and Hillary’s statement which seemed to diminish MLK’s role in winning civil rights legislation in the 60’s both have rubbed the Black electorate the wrong way.  The Clinton’s are finding themselves having to defend themselves from charges of racial insensitivity and seem to be struggling with the fact that there is now a “Blacker” candidate running for president who’ll upset their lock on the Black electorate.

The Clinton’s would do well to consult Black political analysts at this point when they are in such a tight race with Barack Obama.  Left without proper consul, they are sure to make more racial snafus (real or perceived) while on the campaign trail as their frustration with Obama and Black people grows.

 (I occasionally take the time to visit some white supremacist websites to start dialogue with some of the beings residing there, and a buddy of mine sent me a link to an article bemoaning the fact that the ”white” population of the world is dwindling.  I doubt the site’s “moderator” will post my comment, but I left one anyway!).

“This phenomenon is called survival of the fittest.  Whites have outcompeted the rest of humanity for the last five or six centuries (not a very long time compared to other great civilizations) because whites are inherently prone to violence against people of color.  Whites overcame their physical inferiority to people of color by concentrating the majority of their mental faculties to creating and ameliorating instruments of death, making war and death the primary stimulus to spark collective innovation (you people never fail to investigate the “military application” of any new discovery).

“As a result of this propensity towards violence, whites literally spread themselves around the globe, raping, pillaging, stealing, killing, indoctrinating, threatening, intimidating, and generally being assholes towards people of color.  They sent trillions upon trillions of dollars back to Europe, enriching that area of the globe beyond anything yet encountered.  Yet, we see clearly that white war-making superiority has its disadvantages and limitations, and it is a poor tool being used in white attempts to “level the playing field” with people of color:  It can’t compensate for the fact that whites are being slowly selected out of the gene pool.

“Whites have long been convinced of their own physical inferiority, but you still cling tenaciously to your belief that you are mentally superior (based on your own definition of what intelligence is), and that, you feel, is supposed to be your saving grace, what will ultimately help you survive the onslaught.  If thinking this helps you deal with the stress associated with seeing your phenotype vanish, then by all means, use your illusion.

“There is no political policy that is damning Europe and North America; those white people who believe this are most assuredly trying to fool themselves.  The white-dominated parts of the world will eventually become browner and browner, but this is simply the way Mama Nature intended it to be. 

“In the animal kingdom (and we are all part of it whether you like to look at it that way or not), Nature controls the balance of population growth.  If a particular animal’s offspring is less likely to live to a reproductive age, that animal generally has more offspring.  Some animals lay thousands of eggs or have large litters to compensate for the fact that their offspring are likely to be preyed upon; having more children is Nature’s way of making up for this fact.

“Human action and societal structure has produced marked differences in human birth rates around the globe.  In countries where there is a high mortality rate because of unrest, disease, poverty, war, etc., birth rates are high to compensate for these losses.  There are some African countries in which women typically have eight or more children each, compared to under two in Italy (two is the standard replacement rate:  two parents having two children to “replace” themselves).  Of course whites haved turned their attentions to thwarting the trend of dwindling white populations around the world (cloning, fertility drugs, Viagra, etc.), but they will find that they can’t control everything, that some things are simply meant to be.

“The greatest irony of the legacy of white supremacy over the last several centuries is that white’s hoarding of global wealth plays a large role in whites being out-competed by their darker neighbors.  The wealth whites accrued through constant violence and warfare has caused Mama Nature to adjust your rates of childbirth.  Because your wealth has allowed you greater opportunity to fight hunger, disease and other maladies, your children have a higher probability of surviving to reproductive age, therefore you have less children on average than most of the non-white world.  Your affluence is killing you softly, and other non-white nations (like Japan) who’ve adopted the Western model are also experiencing decling birthrates and an older, grayer population.

“You have no one to blame for this but yourselves.  Centuries of believing in your arrogant fantasies about superiority has done nothing but lead to your own demise as a distinct phenotype.  If you happen to believe in some sort of omnipotent god, you can’t help but believe that this is nothing but poetic and divine justice, that whites are getting what they deserve (a slow death).  Your “death” as a group isn’t occurring through outright killing though.  but through your reabsorption into the rest of humanity through the act of reproduction itself (something every living thing does).

“The world needs a long break from people who call themselves “white”, and I hope I live long enough to see it progress to a significant degree.  You were destined to get phased out, a parasitic and viscious breed of human that terrorized humanity for half a millenia only to be reabsorbed back into the main body of that humanity. 

“If you think it would be better to be dead than to be reabsorbed back into humanity, then you might as well point the gun at your head right now and pull the trigger…”

“I went down this route in 2004, comrade, and I assure you it’s a dead end.  DK admitted that his job during that campaign was to keep people in the Democratic party.  Our goal needs to be a people’s party - a mass movement. Supporting a violent institution like the Dems gets us nowhere. As the 2006 election shows, they’re a permanent cul-de-sac - the Washington Generals of professional politics.”

I’d like to thank “John Brown” from Savage Justice (http://savagejustice.blogspot.com) for the comments I quote above, and for pointing out that I need to amend my initial endorsement of Dennis Kucinich for next president.  Trust me, Dennis’ heart is in the right place and I agree with most of his political views, but I’ve always been made uneasy with Kucinich’s affiliation to the Democratic Party.  Why hasn’t he (and other progressive Democrats like Barbara Lee, Maxine Waters, John Conyers, etc.) realized that their views are very much at odds with those who actually control the Democratic Party (the DNCers and others who wholeheartedly support the Skull and Bones class).

My thinking is that he’s reluctant to give up the comfortable political infrastructure available to one of the two factions of the United States’ one political party (the Republicrats).  Breaking away from that means he’ll lose access to this infrastructure, a traditional comfort zone, that feeling that he’s on the inside not the out.  He is a good man whom I’m hoping will one day summon the courage to break from his chosen party and help really forge a new path forward.

That said, upon learning that one of my heroes has now thrown her hat into the ring, I most definitely have to express my support for former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney to be president!  As well as bursting at the seams with enthusiasm and courage, she’s unapologetically Black, brimming with pride, and up on all the issues which are prerequisite knowledge for charting a course forward through the mess the Bush regime has made–clearly the ideal candidate in a sea of prevaricating clowns.

If one takes a look at the global push for what is called “population control” and a look at who is generally worried about the growth in population, it wouldn’t take long for one to discern that most of the worriers are from nations with low birth rates (mostly European).  It also wouldn’t take you very long to see that the main target for population control experiments is the African continent. 

“I think many of us don’t appreciate sometimes that after the Second World War, the industrialized world, the United States, Europe, and the rest of the industrialized world, represented 40 percent of the world’s population. We’re now down to 20 percent of the world’s population, and it’s still dropping.”  –David Gergen, editor-at-large of US World News and Report

The above quotation from David Gergen (who’s also a frequently-seen pundit on television news channels) is part of a 1996 interview he did with author Robert Kaplan, who had penned a book called The Ends of the Earth:  The Journey at the Dawn of the 21st Century, about the supposed “overpopulation” of African countries and its effects on the environment and the shrinking populations of white-dominated nations.  Gergen notes by his use of the word ”we” that he is speaking of white people (and the nations they dominate numerically), and that he’s clearly alarmed by the population trend.

Both Gergen and Kaplan go through great pains during the interview to disguise their white supremacist outlooks on the subject.  Gergen corrects himself when he begins “…you seem to suggest that a place like West Africa, which has only a very thin civili–tradition, I mean, there are many good traditions in West Africa…”, letting slip his racist belief that there has never been “civilization” in West Africa.

Many groups advocating reduction in world population have emerged over the years, and almost all of them locate the problems they see in the non-white world (which is the fastest growing).  They realize that it would be tougher for Western nations to dominate and threaten very large, organized countries and that the traditional locus of global power (”traditional” in the minds of white supremacists) is shifting outside of their influence and control.

The thought that more life on the planet is necessarily bad for the planet is a thougt only someone interested in control would contemplate.  Sure, you hear Westerners preach on and on about being “pro-life”, yet they openly express their fear of life increasing in places that are non-white.  This is what Dr. Marimba Ani, in her classic book “Yurugu” calls a “rhetorical ethic”, i.e., you say it’s your “truth” with no intention of seeing that “truth” through.

There will most assuredly come a time when the Western societies (which have delivered centuries of violence to the non-white regions of the world) fade completely from the world scene, as population trends portend; it is as Mama Nature intended.  I, for one, sincerely doubt that the global, color-based hierarchy (which is primary under the white supremacy paradigm) will have passed at the same time the last “white” person passes. 

Hip-hop legends Public Enemy had it right in their song and album, “Fear of a Black Planet”.  I advise you to get a copy of it as soon as you can…
